ABOUT ME
A little more about the person behind the pixels.
Good morning! I'm Amira Maruf, a Dallas-based senior product designer and the creative mind behind Before Noon Studio – a playful nod to my initials. With roots in graphic design and a curiosity that leads me in all sorts of directions, I've always found myself somewhere between art, technology, and the world around me.
My journey began with a love for art, typography, and visual storytelling. During graduate school, that curiosity grew into an exploration of language, culture, and identity, shaping the way I think about design and its ability to connect people to the world around them.
Today, I apply that same perspective to technology, designing digital products, systems, and experiences that make complex things easier to understand and use. I enjoy the challenge of untangling complicated problems just as much as bringing an idea to life.
Beyond the screen, I'm an avid traveler, bookworm, occasional painter, and collector of creative interests. There's always something new I want to learn, somewhere I want to go, or something I want to make.
